Delivery to central Heraklion accommodation is often possible, but it is never automatic: parts of the old town are pedestrianised or one-way, and a hotel entrance on a narrow lane may mean meeting you a street away instead. Port pickups around ferry arrivals and Heraklion Airport handovers are both common requests - send the ferry or flight details with your enquiry so we can put a realistic time on it.

Parking and driving in the city

Blue lines are paid street parking and yellow lines mean no parking, with fines that are genuinely enforced. Most visitors use the paid car parks by the old harbour or outside the Venetian walls and walk in. Traffic thickens on the ring road at the start and end of the working day, so plan a departure either side of it if you are heading out on the E75.
