No. Zero deposit and no card hold - unusual on Crete and one of the main reasons guests return to us.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up. Later changes are handled case by case - travel plans change, we understand.

Yes - rentals of 7+ days get an automatic discount, 14+ days even more. Just ask when booking.

Can I get an invoice with company VAT details?

Yes. Send us the company name, address and VAT ID and we issue a proper Greek invoice.

Yes - FCDW full insurance plus WUG (tyres, undercarriage, glass, mirrors) and theft protection are included in every price, with €0 excess. That is the only option we offer; there are no upgrades or top-ups at pick-up.

Tyres, wheels, glass and the underbody are covered by WUG with €0 excess on paved roads - it is included in every price. We explain in your own language what is and isn't covered before you sign.

Theft is covered by insurance. You file a police report; we handle the rest with the insurer.

Third-party liability up to €1,300,000 for injury and €1,300,000 for property damage. Driver personal accident cover €15,000; passengers up to €1,300,000. Every price we quote includes FCDW full insurance (€0 excess) plus WUG, which covers tyres, undercarriage, glass and mirrors at €0 excess - on paved roads. Fire, theft and third-party are always included. Roadside assistance is free 24/7 within Crete. We replace the car within 24 hours in case of a non-fault accident on the island.

What voids the insurance?

Off-road driving (including the Balos gravel road), driving under alcohol or drugs, letting an unregistered driver drive, wrong-fuel refuelling, willful/reckless use, using the car in a race, or putting it on a ferry without our written approval. All cars are GPS-tracked.

Are there any fixed penalties I should know about?

Lost keys €250 (retrieval €100-200), smoking inside the car €150, biological interior cleaning €100-150, missing fuel + €10 refuel fee, unauthorised ferry transport up to double the standard ferry fee (€35-90 per route).

Yes. We meet you at Heraklion (HER) or Chania (CHQ) with your name on a sign. Airport drop-off is included too.

18 years for all car categories, with at least one year of driving experience. Drivers under 21 pay a small young-driver surcharge; drivers over 75 pay a senior-driver surcharge. The exact amount depends on the car and rental length.

No. Off-road driving and the gravel road to Balos (from Kalyviani) are strictly forbidden for every rental - including 4x4 and SUV categories. All our cars are GPS-tracked, and any off-road use voids insurance and makes you liable for the full damage. To reach Balos, take the boat from Kissamos.

50 km/h in towns, 90 km/h on rural roads, 110 km/h on the E75 national road. Speed checks are common near Malia and Rethymno.
