Flying with your own car seat is possible, but most families would rather not carry one through two airports. We fit child seats and boosters to the car before delivery, so the car is ready to drive away when you land.
Child seats carry a small extra fee - they are never free - and we always show that fee inside the final total before you confirm, not at handover.
Children under 12 or shorter than 1.35 m must use an approved restraint appropriate to their size, and infants must not travel in the front seat with an active passenger airbag. Tell us each child's age, height and weight when you ask for availability and we will confirm which seat is correct rather than guessing.
Child seats are an extra cost. The amount depends on the seat type and the length of the rental, and it appears in the written quotation you receive before confirming. There is nothing added at handover that was not in that quotation.
Every MyCrete rental includes FCDW full insurance plus WUG cover - tyres, wheels, glass, mirrors and the underbody - at €0 excess, with no security deposit and no credit-card hold. Kilometres are unlimited and the quoted total is the amount you pay at handover, by cash or card. Fuel is not included: you receive the car with a set fuel level and return it the same way. Insurance is void off-road, including the gravel track to Balos. Cars are arranged from our own fleet and from selected local partners, and MyCrete stays your contact for the whole rental.
