Plenty of Crete itineraries land at one airport and leave from the other: in at Heraklion, west through Rethymno and Chania, out from Chania. A one-way rental saves you the drive back along the E75 on your last morning.
We arrange one-way rentals between the main points on the north coast. Whether it is possible for your dates depends on availability, so it is confirmed individually rather than promised in advance.
A one-way between regions means somebody drives the car back, so there can be a relocation fee. When there is one it is stated in the written quotation as part of the single final total - never added at handover. Within the same area, delivery and collection at different addresses is normally included.
Heraklion to Chania on the E75 is around 140 km and takes a little over two hours without stops. Leave time for the last leg: arriving at Chania airport with an hour to spare after a coastal detour is optimistic in August. Note also that the four-day minimum applies to Chania-area rentals.
There is no instant checkout. When you send your dates we check personally what is genuinely available for that period, and we reply with the car (or a similar one), the conditions and one clear final price. Nothing is reserved until you confirm in writing, and no payment is taken to ask.
